Have a blessed day!
The COVID-19 physical health experts and local authorities say that it’s safe for us to have up to 78 people at a time in our church building for worship. This number is based on the square footage of our building, and takes into consider the continued social distancing of 6 feet between people, except for families. Therefore we are currently providing two services each weekend: Saturday at 6:30pm and Sunday at 9:00am, both with the Lord’s Supper. Depending on our numbers, some may be asked to sit in the balcony or overflow in the Family Life Center, but the sound system will be on in both areas. The health order guidance we will be following requires 6 ft. between people (seated or standing), except for families. It is suggested that those most at risk, including people over 65 and anyone with a preexisting immune or respiratory condition not attend, but you are certainly not restricted from attending if you wish to come. Best practice guidelines also remind people to “cover their coughs and sneezes, wear non-surgical masks, and practice hand hygiene,” but a face-mask is not absolutely required. Those who are ill, showing COVID-19 symptoms, have been in contact with someone with a confirmed case of COVID-19, or who have had a fever in the previous 48 hours should not attend, so as not to put others at risk of infection.
IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR THOSE UNABLE TO ATTEND ONE OF OUR SERVICES: After this update we will be able to post a recorded service on this website as in the past and the printed sermon. If you are unable to attend one of our services and would like to receive the Lord's Supper in a more private setting, please call the church office to arrange a time (970) 874-3052.
We will continue our Sunday morning Bible Study hour at the normal time of 10:30am, which I will Zoom for those unable to attend in person. If you would like to Zoom the Bible Study, please call Pastor Van at (970) 238-6551 and he will send you the link to use.
Please call the church office, 970-874-6052, if you have any questions.
God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, bless and keep you!
